So one of the most popular Jordan shoes gets its retro release this coming March in the UK. This has to be one of my fave shoes, it just looks and feels so nice.
The main change to this release is the Nike Air logo on the heel which is said to be a tribute to the ’88 all star game and the slam dunk competition that Jordan himself smashed and won.
The shoe is scheduled for a UK release in March and said to retail at $200 U.S dollars.
Estevan Oriol is a Mexican American photographer who’s work has amazed me for years. He started out as a bouncer in hip-hop clubs before hitting the road with acts like Cypress Hill and House of Pain. After getting back from touring and finding a love for photography he was given the rare chance to take pictures of gang members and celebrities. His work has been published in magazines such as Complex, FHM, GQ, Vibe, Rolling Stone plus loads more.
He has also produced music videos for big names such as Xzibit, Blink 182, D12, Cypress Hill and the alchemist to name but a few. He has famously taken pics of Eminem, Snoop Dogg, the late Nate Dog ( r.i.p ) Kim Kardashian and loads more, his style captures the raw essence of street life in LA and the sexy images of the low rider girls along with the culture that goes with gang life and low riding.
He are a few of my fave images of his :
